About Us

Hello there! So glad you could join us on this site. Well, let us tell you a little about who we are. We are two sisters Fariza and Zehra, and we are the co-founders of this toy charity initiative. We collect gently used toys from family and friends like you and travel during our school holidays to distribute the toys to the children in orphanages and underprivileged schools around the globe.

Our Story

It all started a few years ago, back in 2017. We used to travel with our parents and often took that one special toy of ours with us. On our trips to Turkey, we noticed a little girl on the street near a tourist spot. She was fascinated by the toy that we were holding. It made us think of the idea of bringing some of our toys to our next destination to share with other children just like her.

We shared our idea with some of our family and friends, and before we knew it, our house was filled with hundreds of toys! We formed a team and started to pick travel destinations where children needed toys the most. We were really happy to bring smiles to so many faces who never owned a toy of their own! We would all bond so easily playing with toys even when we did not speak the same language. And guess what, even the media took notice and the news about our work started to get published in various newspapers all around the globe. We were even called for a live tv interview!

With the help of well wishers like you, our group really started to expand. Aspirations with dedication can truly turn into an achievement, when we all work together!

Our Team

Fariza

Hi there! I am one of the co-founders of our toy charity. I have a passion for music and have been playing the piano since I was 5. I love areas that revolve around IT such as graphic design, movie making and editing. I love capturing moments with pictures.

I enjoy photography and capture views from other perspectives and like visiting different locations. I also enjoy writing and have my own newsletter called Fariza’s Corner that provides a platform where students like you could share your interests, recipes, various topics and more!

Feel free to check out my website to take a look at my monthly newsletters and photography. I also teach online lessons to students at an orphanage in Bangladesh. We love how engaging the students are when learning and their determination.

Our Mission

We make a direct impact to children and organizations in need, while empowering and encouraging youth participation globally. Through toy drive projects, Little Founders for Change collects old toys from young and inspiring children across the globe, and creates connections with a network of orphanages, schools and organizations supporting those most in need. Projects also encourage recycling, benefiting the environment and keeping toys away from landfills.

We are thrilled that you would like to join our journey. All you have to do is, send us the toys that you would like to share either by mail or you can drop it off if you live nearby! You can send us an email and we will provide you with the details.
